About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a slim-profile white marble rectangular table paired with four black upholstered armchairs. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a thin, white marble top and a minimal black metal frame. The four accompanying armchairs feature a rounded, bucket-style upholstered shell in a dark charcoal fabric, providing a soft contrast to the rigid, linear table structure. Each chair is supported by a slender black metal leg assembly with integrated cross-bracing for stability. The overall aesthetic is clean and understated, relying on the refined material pairing of cool stone and matte black metal to define its silhouette in modern interior dining spaces.

The download is a 52.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max scene, use the native pivot points to align the chairs precisely with the table edges. The model geometry is organised to allow for easy material assignment or modification of the fabric textures on the chair shells. Ensure the marble material is assigned with appropriate reflection and glossiness maps to capture the subtle veining visible in the reference. Lighting should be balanced to highlight the contrast between the reflective stone table surface and the matte fabric upholstery.

Ideal for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel breakfast areas, or contemporary apartment staging, this set works well in open-plan living environments. Its compact, slim-line design makes it suitable for smaller footprints where visual lightness is required. Designers often pair this with minimalist pendant lighting or linear architectural features to maintain a clean, uncluttered aesthetic. Search for this piece when specifying modern, refined dining solutions for urban projects, or when looking to balance stone textures with soft, dark fabric seating elements.
