Contemporary White Marble and Black Reception Desk

This contemporary 3ds Max reception desk features a white marble finish with a high-contrast black base and integrated pedestal. This linear reception desk is defined by its clean, monolithic aesthetic. The primary structure is clad in white marble, providing a bright, professional appearance suitable for corporate environments. A stark black plinth creates a strong visual anchor, while a matching cylindrical side pedestal with a circular top offers a secondary, elevated workspace or transaction surface. The internal side includes integrated computer monitors, suggesting a functional layout for personnel. The combination of high-contrast materials and geometric volumes lends a refined, modern character to the piece, suitable for high-end lobbies and professional front-of-house areas.

The download is an 11 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for efficient scene integration. Users should check the layer hierarchy to manage the desk body, pedestal, and equipment components separately. Materials are mapped for immediate use, though adjustment of reflection and glossiness parameters may be required to suit specific lighting environments. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement and alignment within architectural floor plans. Standard pivot points are set to facilitate quick rotation and positioning against walls or within open-plan lobby layouts.
