About this asset

This contemporary 4-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a marble-top rectangular table and upholstered chairs on slender metal legs. The dining set comprises a rectangular table with rounded corners and a robust, matte black pedestal base. The tabletop is finished in a white marble with subtle grey veining. Accompanying the table are four dining chairs, each featuring a contoured, quilted-fabric shell in a warm beige tone. The seat shells are supported by minimalist, splayed black metal legs, providing a clean, architectural silhouette. The arrangement includes a small decorative bowl of fruit and a vase of greenery, which add a sense of scale and domestic life to the arrangement.

The download is an 8.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by logical naming conventions for easy scene management. The model uses standard material slots, allowing for quick adjustments to the marble texture or fabric shaders to suit specific lighting conditions. Users should check the pivot points of the chairs to ensure they align correctly with the table perimeter. The geometry is clean, suitable for mid-to-high-end visualisations where efficient polygon management is required while maintaining realistic surface detail through high-resolution texture maps.

Ideal for modern residential dining rooms, compact kitchen-diners, or boutique hospitality spaces like cafe interiors, this set offers a balanced aesthetic that pairs well with contemporary interior palettes. It functions effectively as a focal point in open-plan living areas, particularly when combined with minimalist pendant lighting or neutral wall finishes. Professional designers often search for this type of set when specifying furniture for apartment projects or staging show homes where a sophisticated, clean-lined dining solution is required for small-to-medium-sized floor plates.
