About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa in white leather is a 3ds Max model featuring a deep button-tufted finish and a sleek metal base. This 3-seater sofa features a low-profile, boxy silhouette defined by extensive button-tufting across the seat, backrest, and integrated armrests. The upholstery is finished in white leather, providing a clean, monochromatic aesthetic. A thin, horizontal metal plinth base runs along the bottom, adding a subtle metallic accent to the design. The piece includes several decorative scatter cushions in black and beige, which contrast with the primary white upholstery. Its proportions are deep and wide, suggesting a lounge-focused seating experience suitable for formal living spaces or high-end commercial lobby areas.

The download is a 21.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with clear layer structures, allowing for easy selection of the sofa body and individual cushions. Users should apply high-resolution textures to the leather surfaces to maintain detail during close-up renders. The metal base is provided as a separate material ID, facilitating quick adjustments to the finish, such as polished chrome or brushed brass, using standard material editors. Ensure the pivot point is set to the floor level for accurate placement within the scene.

This sofa is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, luxury hotel reception areas, or executive lounge settings. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables and large-scale area rugs. Designers often search for this type of button-tufted furniture when aiming for a sophisticated, contemporary look that balances traditional detailing with modern form. It functions effectively as a central statement piece in open-plan layouts, providing both visual texture and comfortable seating for guests in upscale interior design projects.
