About this asset

This contemporary swivel office chair for SketchUp features a white frame and a patterned grey fabric upholstery on the seat and backrest. This task chair features a compact design with a five-star base finished in white, equipped with standard black castors for mobility. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a mottled, textured grey fabric that provides a visual contrast to the stark white frame. It includes integrated, fixed armrests that curve gently to support the user. The central column includes a height-adjustment mechanism typical of professional task seating. Its proportions are modest, making it suitable for smaller workstations or home-office setups where space efficiency is a priority without compromising on a modern aesthetic.

The download is a 75.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When importing this SketchUp model into your workspace, ensure you place the chair on a dedicated furniture layer to manage visibility easily. You may need to scale the component to match your specific project requirements, as standard office seating varies in height. The materials are applied as individual textures; you can replace these with your own custom fabric or metal finishes within the SketchUp material editor to suit your interior palette. Ensure the castors are positioned correctly on the floor plane for accurate rendering.

This office chair is ideal for interior design projects focused on modern home offices, commercial workspaces, and studio environments. It pairs well with minimalist desks and contemporary workstation systems. Designers often search for this type of task seating when looking to add functional, space-saving furniture to residential home-office renders or corporate office layouts. Its neutral colour scheme allows it to integrate seamlessly into diverse design schemes, from Scandinavian-inspired rooms to more industrial, clean-lined office spaces, providing a professional yet approachable seating solution for any project.
