About this asset

This contemporary white fabric swivel lounge chair, provided as a SketchUp model, features a minimalist form with a black metal base. The lounge chair presents a compact, contemporary profile defined by a curved, wrap-around backrest that transitions seamlessly into integrated armrests. The seat is fully upholstered in a textured white fabric, exhibiting soft, organic folds that suggest a comfortable, plush fill. A central black metal four-star swivel base provides structural support and stability, contrasting sharply against the light-toned upholstery. The overall proportions are balanced, making the piece suitable for tight corners or as a singular accent element in a larger space. Its clean lines and neutral palette allow for versatile integration into varied interior schemes.

The download is a 5.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp scene, place the component using the central axis of the swivel base for easy rotation and alignment. The geometry is grouped for efficient selection and manipulation within the outliner. Users can easily swap the fabric texture to match project-specific material palettes or adjust the metal finish on the base to suit the surrounding furniture. Ensure the model is scaled correctly to match standard seat heights before final placement within the interior model.

This lounge chair is ideal for contemporary residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern executive office suites. It serves as a functional accent piece in reading nooks or waiting areas where space-saving furniture is required. Designers often pair this chair with low-profile side tables or minimalist floor lamps to complete a cohesive seating arrangement.
