About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a white fabric L-shaped sofa set atop a robust, live-edge natural wood platform base. Defined by its low-profile silhouette, this L-shaped sofa combines plush, white fabric upholstery with a raw, live-edge wood plinth. The seating modules feature a clean, minimalist aesthetic, accented by two soft, neutral-toned scatter cushions. The base retains the organic texture and irregular shape of natural timber, contrasting sharply with the refined, geometric lines of the seat cushions. The piece includes an integrated side extension on the platform, providing an open surface for decor or small accessories, making it a distinct focal point for any modern living space or lounge area.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically managed as a single grouped object for ease of placement within a scene. Users should check the pivot point at the base to ensure flush alignment with floor geometry. Applying high-quality fabric textures with appropriate bump maps will enhance the realism of the cushions, while the wood base benefits from a clear-coat shader to accentuate the natural grain and live-edge detail. Adjusting the lighting to highlight the material contrast is recommended for optimal visual impact.

Ideal for residential living rooms, high-end hotel lobbies, or modern lounge areas, this sofa suits projects requiring a blend of organic warmth and contemporary design. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and warm ambient lighting. Search for this piece when specifying furniture for open-plan layouts, loft apartments, or boutique hospitality interiors where a statement seating element is required. Its unique wood-base construction makes it a versatile choice for styles ranging from organic modern to refined rustic interiors.
