About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV wall unit features a clean white finish, natural wood veneer, and terrazzo accents for a modern media display. Designed as a comprehensive media wall, this unit combines closed storage with open shelving and a dedicated TV recess. The composition balances solid, matte white cabinet doors with a warm wood veneer section that frames the television. A recessed display niche at the left end is lined with speckled terrazzo, providing a tactile contrast to the smooth surfaces. The lower section features a continuous horizontal bench, also finished in terrazzo, which serves as a platform for media consoles and speakers. Vertical fluting within the open shelving adds depth and textural interest to the overall assembly.

The download is a 48 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical grouping for easy placement and material assignment. Users can efficiently merge the unit into an existing scene, using snapping tools to align the back of the assembly with a wall surface. The materials are mapped for immediate integration, though users should ensure their scene lighting is configured to capture the subtle contrast between the matte white, wood, and terrazzo textures. Layers should be managed to isolate the decorative objects from the primary joinery components.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, this media wall serves as a sophisticated focal point in open-plan apartments or family homes. It works well in projects requiring integrated storage solutions that combine aesthetics with functional media housing. Designers often search for this type of feature wall when specifying custom joinery or high-quality bespoke furniture sets. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior schemes, contemporary lighting, and neutral soft furnishings, making it a versatile choice for modern interior design and architectural visualisation workflows.
