About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp media wall unit features integrated shelving and a desk, finished in white lacquer and walnut timber. This comprehensive wall-mounted joinery system combines media storage, display shelving, and an integrated corner desk. The composition centres on a marble-clad panel behind the television, flanked by vertical timber slatting on the right. A tall, closed-door cabinet sits to the left, adjacent to a series of open bookshelf cubbies. Below the screen, a low-profile, white-fronted drawer unit provides horizontal storage. The right-hand side transitions into a sleek, cantilevered work desk with a matching walnut desktop and pedestal support. The palette balances clean white surfaces with the warmth of natural walnut wood tones.

The download is a 47.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users should import this SketchUp model into their project file, ensuring the origin point is aligned with the host wall plane. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy adjustment of the desk length or shelving layout to suit specific room dimensions. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp texture mapping; users can swap out the marble or wood veneers by editing the component textures directly. Ensure the unit is placed on a dedicated layer to maintain scene clarity during complex architectural modelling.

This versatile unit is ideal for high-end residential living rooms or home offices requiring a unified, bespoke aesthetic. It functions as a focal point in open-plan spaces, providing both entertainment storage and a dedicated workspace. Architects and interior designers can use this asset in project visualisations for luxury apartments, townhouses, or contemporary corporate breakout areas. It pairs well with modern task chairs and minimalist interior schemes, serving as a functional, space-saving solution for multi-purpose rooms where storage and productivity are equally prioritised.
