About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa features a white leather main frame paired with a tan textured leather chaise longue section. The piece is a modular sofa configuration consisting of a linear seating unit and an integrated rectangular chaise. The main seating area is finished in smooth off-white leather, complemented by a contrast-textured, tan-coloured leather on the chaise section. The design incorporates a structured backrest, featuring an exposed rear panel with a fine, repetitive geometric pattern. The set includes several loose scatter cushions in varied sizes and tones, providing depth to the composition. The base is clean-lined with a low-profile aesthetic, suitable for modern interior settings that require distinct material layering.

The download is a 16.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this model into a 3ds Max scene by aligning the base to the floor plane. The modular components are typically grouped, allowing for easy separation if the chaise needs to be repositioned or reconfigured. Materials are applied as standard shaders; ensure the texture maps for the embossed leather on the chaise are correctly linked to maintain the intended surface detail. Adjust the pivot points to the base center for efficient rotation and placement within floor plans.

This sofa works well in high-end residential living rooms or luxury hotel lobby lounge areas. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or low-profile side units. Interior designers searching for modular lounge furniture, leather seating sets, or contemporary chaise sofas will find this model appropriate for their project visualisations. It is particularly effective in open-plan spaces where a defined seating zone is required, serving as a focal point while maintaining a clean, architectural silhouette against neutral wall finishes.
