About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max ceiling fan features a matte white central motor housing paired with three light-toned wood grain blades. Characterised by a minimalist aesthetic, this three-blade ceiling fan incorporates a clean, spherical motor housing and a matching circular canopy in a matte white finish. The blades feature a distinct light wood grain pattern with soft, rounded profiles, providing a warm contrast to the stark white metal components. The assembly is suspended by a slim, cylindrical downrod, maintaining a balanced and lightweight appearance. The geometry is simplified, focusing on smooth transitions between the motor unit and the blade mounts, suitable for interior spaces requiring a subtle, functional cooling element.

The download is a 22.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for straightforward integration into ceiling planes. Users should ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the centre of the motor housing to facilitate accurate rotation animation. The blades and motor housing are typically organised into separate layers or groups, allowing for independent material adjustments or texture scaling. When rendering, ensure the light wood grain maps are scaled appropriately to the blade geometry to maintain realistic texture resolution in close-up interior visualisations.

This ceiling fan is intended for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and covered outdoor patios where a contemporary or scandinavian interior style is desired. It complements neutral palettes and natural timber finishes, making it a versatile choice for modern apartments or boutique hotel suites. Professionals searching for cooling solutions will find this model useful for enhancing the realism of high-end residential renders, particularly when paired with minimalist furniture sets or soft, ambient lighting schemes in architectural design projects.
