About this asset

This contemporary two-door wardrobe for SketchUp features a high-contrast white and dark wood finish with integrated side shelving. This wardrobe unit combines enclosed storage with a vertical stack of open display shelves on the left side. The main body is finished in a dark wood grain, while the door panels are surfaced in a crisp white laminate. A horizontal band of the same dark wood runs across the centre of the doors, creating a balanced, geometric aesthetic. The internal layout is implied by the door configuration, providing a mix of hanging space and overhead storage. The proportions are tall and slim, suitable for modern bedrooms where floor space is limited.

The download is a 6.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To use this component in SketchUp, ensure the unit is placed on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the design process. The geometry is organised as a single group, allowing for easy placement against walls or within recessed alcoves. Materials are applied using standard textures, which can be scaled or replaced to match specific project finishes. To achieve a realistic finish, consider adjusting the transparency or reflectivity of the white panels and adding subtle ambient occlusion to the open shelving compartments.

Ideal for residential bedroom designs, this wardrobe serves as a practical storage solution for both master suites and guest rooms. Its neutral colour palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into minimalist or contemporary interior schemes. Architects and interior designers often specify such units for new-build residential developments or renovation projects where custom joinery is required. Pair this item with matching bedside tables or a chest of drawers to create a cohesive bedroom suite. Search for modern closets, bedroom storage, or fitted joinery units.
