About this asset

Contemporary double-layer fabric curtains for SketchUp, featuring a layered white sheer and blue drape assembly with natural vertical folds. This window treatment model consists of a two-part curtain system featuring a central white layer positioned behind two side-mounted blue panels. The fabric is modelled with organic, soft vertical pleats that extend from the header to the floor, suggesting a heavy, high-quality textile weight. The composition is symmetrical, with the blue panels framing the white layer to create depth and contrast. The geometry is clean and optimized, focusing on realistic drapery folds and a natural hang that provides a polished look for interior visualisations without excessive polygon density.

The download is a 7.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these curtains into a SketchUp scene, import the component and position it along the interior wall or window frame. Use the scale tool to adjust the height and width to suit specific project dimensions, ensuring the vertical folds remain proportional. The curtains are organised into logical groups, allowing for easy material assignment or texture replacement if a different fabric finish is required. For final renders, apply a soft lighting setup to capture the subtle highlights on the fabric folds.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and hotel suite interiors where a layered window treatment is required. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary furniture settings, providing a soft texture to balance hard architectural lines. Professionals often use such assets during the design development or presentation stages to enhance the realism of interior views. Search for these by terms such as window drapes, layered curtains, or interior soft furnishings to find them in your project library.
