About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max wall-mounted TV unit features a walnut finish with integrated shelving and a floating media cabinet design. This wall-mounted media system comprises a vertical panel backboard finished in a rich walnut veneer, incorporating both smooth and vertically fluted textures. A horizontal white shelf bisects the assembly, providing a clean contrast to the timber. The lower section consists of a floating, three-compartment drawer unit for concealed storage. A small, cantilevered side shelf is attached to the upper left, complemented by a minimalist circular wall accent above. The composition is designed for a flat-screen television, featuring integrated electrical socket cut-outs. Decorative glassware and plant elements are included in the assembly.

The download is an 18.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this assembly is structured as a single block or group, allowing for straightforward placement against a wall plane. Users should ensure the pivot point is aligned with the rear surface for accurate wall mounting. The wood grain mapping is pre-applied to the panel and drawer surfaces, though users may need to adjust the UVW map coordinates if scaling the unit to fit specific room dimensions. Lighting should be configured to highlight the depth of the fluted paneling.

Ideal for modern living room designs and high-end residential media rooms, this unit serves as a focal point for entertainment spaces. It integrates seamlessly into professional interior design projects requiring a sophisticated, decluttered aesthetic. Designers often search for this type of wall-mounted cabinetry when specifying custom joinery or media storage solutions. It pairs well with minimalist decor, accent lighting, and contemporary lounge furniture, providing a cohesive look for apartments or houses that prioritise clean lines and integrated storage functionality.
