About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max media wall unit features integrated white cabinetry, walnut panelling, a fireplace, and a piano nook. This expansive wall unit combines functional storage with aesthetic vertical elements. The composition features a rich walnut timber frame, contrasted by matte white cabinet doors and open shelving sections. A central television recess is positioned above a stone-finished base housing a linear fireplace. To the left, a dedicated alcove accommodates an upright piano, framed by vertical timber slats that provide texture. The unit is modular in appearance, with a mix of closed cupboards for concealed storage and open shelves for decor, creating a balanced, high-end look suitable for modern interior architecture projects.

The download is a 140 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the unit is placed against a wall object with appropriate snapping. The model is structured into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of individual cabinets, the fireplace, or the piano. Apply high-quality wood grain textures to the walnut surfaces and adjust the cabinet material reflectivity to achieve the desired finish. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the depth of the vertical timber slats and the glow of the fireplace mesh, ensuring proper alignment with your scene camera.
