About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model of a mobile serving cart features a walnut-finished top and a polished chrome frame structure. The serving cart is defined by its functional, multi-tier design, showcasing a warm walnut-toned wooden top and base shelf. The frame is constructed from tubular chrome, providing a sleek, reflective contrast to the timber surfaces. Integrated into the mid-section is a dedicated metal wire rack designed for horizontal bottle storage, enhancing its utility as a bar or service trolley. Four small casters are mounted at the base for mobility. The overall aesthetic balances industrial utility with refined material finishes, suitable for both modern living spaces and sophisticated hospitality environments.

The download is a 73.9 MB file containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material management. The chrome and wood textures are mapped for realistic light interaction, allowing users to adjust reflectivity and grain scale via the material editor. The cart’s geometry is clean, ensuring efficient viewport navigation. When integrating into a scene, ensure the casters are correctly aligned with the floor plane to maintain visual grounding, and adjust the lighting setup to capture the highlights on the curved metal frame components.
