About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a live-edge walnut tea table supported by a natural stone boulder and a slatted metal base. Combining organic forms with structured elements, this tea table features a substantial live-edge walnut slab top that emphasizes natural wood grain. One end of the table rests directly upon a large, textured grey stone boulder, while the opposite side is supported by a vertical, slatted metal frame. The set includes a curated arrangement of tea service accessories and a miniature bonsai tree, creating a complete focal point. The contrast between the rugged stone, the refined walnut, and the precise metal slats evokes a balanced aesthetic suitable for sophisticated interior environments.

The download is a 36.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this 3ds Max file directly into a scene as a single assembly. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for the easy isolation of the table, the stone support, and the decorative tea set. Materials are pre-configured for standard rendering workflows, utilizing texture maps for the wood grain and stone surface. When placing this asset, ensure the stone boulder is correctly integrated with the floor plane to maintain visual grounding, while adjusting the light intensity to highlight the wood textures.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, meditation spaces, or serene hotel lobby lounge areas, this table provides a sculptural element to any interior. It pairs well with low-profile seating or floor cushions in minimalist, japandi, or wabi-sabi inspired schemes. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of piece when specifying focal furniture for calm, contemplative zones. Its unique combination of materials makes it a versatile addition to projects requiring a balance of natural textures and modern structural design.
