Contemporary Walnut and Rattan Storage Sideboard Set

This contemporary SketchUp storage set features two walnut and rattan units with rounded cane-webbing panels and tapered legs. This storage set comprises a low, wide sideboard and a taller, vertical cabinet, both crafted from dark walnut-toned timber with natural rattan cane-webbing door panels. The design features distinctive rounded rectangular cut-outs on the doors, framed by solid wood borders. The units are elevated on slender, tapered cylindrical legs, providing a lightweight aesthetic despite the solid construction. The horizontal sideboard offers four cupboard sections, while the vertical unit provides two, making this a functional storage solution for living or dining spaces. The refined proportions and material contrast between the dark frame and light rattan create a warm, tactile finish.

The download is a 166 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these components are organised as distinct groups or components, allowing for easy placement and manipulation within a scene. Users should check the model origin and axes to ensure straightforward snapping against walls or floor planes. The textures are mapped to the geometry, so verify that material scales are consistent if resizing is required. For high-quality visualisations, consider adjusting the material reflectiveness and applying a subtle bump map to the rattan panels to enhance the perceived depth of the weave during rendering.
