About this asset

This SketchUp model features a set of four modular terracotta breeze blocks, offering varied geometric apertures for screening. This collection includes four distinct patterns of modular breeze blocks, each featuring a unique geometric void design: circular, square, rectangular, and diagonal. Rendered in a natural terracotta finish, these blocks are designed to create semi-permeable partitions or decorative facade elements. The modular nature of these units allows them to be stacked to form full-height screens or feature walls. The texture of the material is consistent across the set, providing a warm, earthy aesthetic suitable for both interior and exterior architectural applications where light and airflow are essential components of the design.

The download is a 7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these blocks are organised as individual components, making them easy to array or stack to create custom wall dimensions. Users can apply unique materials to individual faces if required, though the native texture is ready for immediate rendering. Best practice involves creating a new layer for the screen assembly to keep the model organized. The geometry is clean and lightweight, ensuring efficient performance even when creating large-scale facade panels or complex privacy screens in a project file.

These breeze blocks are ideal for modern residential projects, outdoor garden terraces, and hospitality spaces like cafes or hotel lobbies. They serve as excellent tools for defining zones without sacrificing natural light or ventilation. Professionals often search for these when specifying privacy screens, decorative masonry, or mid-century inspired architectural features. They pair well with natural wood accents, lush vegetation, and stone flooring, adding texture and depth to both interior partitions and external building envelopes in architectural design and landscape projects.
