Contemporary Walnut and Rattan Dining Set

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for SketchUp features a walnut table, rattan-back armchairs, and matching pendant lights. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a rich walnut-finished top supported by a central pedestal base, paired with six armchairs. The chairs exhibit a refined aesthetic, combining black-finished frames with woven rattan backrests and upholstered seat cushions in a neutral white fabric. The set is completed by two cylindrical pendant lights featuring rattan detailing that complements the chair backs. The overall design balances mid-century influences with modern minimalism, offering a cohesive look for sophisticated interior spaces. Each component is modelled to scale, maintaining consistent material finishes across the table, seating, and lighting elements.

The download is a 57 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 9 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is organised into logical groups and components, allowing for easy placement and repositioning within your model. The textures are mapped to standard faces, enabling simple adjustments to scale or material properties via the material editor. Users can quickly swap out the pendant lights or adjust the chair arrangement to suit specific floor plans. Ensure your project model is set to the correct units before importing to maintain the accurate proportions of the table and seating height.
