About this asset

This modern potted bonsai tree for SketchUp features a sculptural stone-effect base held within a minimalist black metal frame. The model consists of a stylized bonsai tree with dense, textured foliage and a light-toned trunk, set within a unique, rugged stone-like planter. This stone element appears to float suspended inside a thin, black-finished metal square frame, creating a striking contrast between the organic plant form and the industrial geometry of the stand. A small, dark-coloured human figurine sits at the base of the tree, providing a sense of scale and a meditative quality to the overall assembly. The composition is clean, balanced, and suitable for high-end interior visualizations requiring refined decorative accents.

The download is a 34.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a native SketchUp asset, this model is structured with grouped components for easy placement and scaling within your interior scenes. The vegetation geometry is optimized for performance, while the material textures can be easily adjusted or replaced via the standard SketchUp material editor. For enhanced realism in rendering, ensure the model is placed on a flat surface and consider applying custom bump maps to the stone planter to accentuate its rugged, textured surface detail under your chosen lighting conditions.

This piece is ideal for adding character to minimalist living rooms, hotel lobbies, or executive office spaces where a sculptural focal point is required. It works well when placed on sideboards, consoles, or as a standalone feature in a quiet corner. Professionals looking for high-quality decorative elements for contemporary interior design projects will find this asset useful for creating a sense of calm and sophistication. It pairs effectively with other modern furniture, helping to bridge the gap between architectural space and natural form.
