Contemporary Walnut and Metal Rectangular Dining Set

This contemporary 4-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a walnut-finish rectangular table and four wire-frame chairs with cushions. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a rich walnut-finish top supported by a robust black powder-coated U-shaped metal frame. Accompanying the table are four wire-mesh dining chairs, each featuring a distinctive grid-pattern backrest and a light off-white upholstered seat pad. The chairs are elevated on natural-toned wooden dowel legs secured with black cross-bracing, offering a clean, airy aesthetic. The set is presented with a decorative black vase and minimal table accessories, creating a balanced, functional arrangement that prioritises geometric clarity and material contrast between the warmth of wood and the industrial edge of metal.

The download is a 31.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the table and individual chair components. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for efficient placement within a scene. Materials are set up for standard rendering pipelines, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood grain or metal finish. When integrating into a larger interior, consider applying a subtle ambient occlusion map to the chair joints and table connections to enhance the realism of the contact shadows.
