About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp TV wall unit features a walnut finish with marble detailing and integrated open shelving for media. The unit is composed of a central television recess framed by white marble, flanked by full-height open shelving finished in a dark charcoal tone. The central section incorporates walnut-veneered cabinetry above and below the screen, with a slatted timber feature panel at the top. The overall composition is symmetrical, balancing closed storage with display space for decor. The internal shelves are illuminated, adding depth to the structure. This piece functions as a comprehensive media wall, providing a structured, sophisticated focal point for a living area or lounge space.

The download is a 143 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is structured as a series of nested groups to allow for efficient material swapping and adjustments. Users should check the component axes before scaling the unit to fit specific wall dimensions. The internal lighting setup utilises emissive textures on the shelf edges, which can be managed via the layer system. Ensure the model is placed against a flat surface to avoid clipping issues with the back panel, and use tags to toggle between the base unit and decorative accessories.

Designed for high-end residential living rooms, hotel suites, or professional office lounges, this unit serves as a primary feature wall.
