About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a console table with a dark glass top and a structural walnut base with geometric form. The console table is defined by its striking geometric base, constructed from solid timber with a rich walnut-brown finish. The base features angled members that intersect to form a central diamond-shaped void, providing robust support for the floating rectangular tabletop. The top is composed of dark, semi-transparent glass, lending a sleek and minimalist aesthetic to the design. This set includes the console table itself, accompanied by a small wooden stool and decorative elements, including a potted plant, a minimalist black vase with yellow florals, and a white sculptural bust, offering a complete styled arrangement.

The download is a 19.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into distinct components, allowing users to move or hide the decorative accessories independently from the table assembly. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily edited or swapped in the material browser to match specific interior design palettes. Users should check the model scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with project dimensions, and apply appropriate soft shadows or ambient occlusion settings to highlight the depth of the complex geometric base.

This piece is well-suited for entryways, hallways, or behind sofa arrangements in high-end residential projects and boutique hotel lobbies. It serves as an effective focal point for staging interior scenes where a blend of natural textures and modern architectural lines is required. Designers frequently search for such console tables when specifying furniture for transitional or contemporary living spaces, often pairing them with complementary wall art, mirrors, or lighting fixtures to create a balanced, professional composition in architectural visualisations.
