About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV wall unit features a tall walnut-veneer panel paired with a charcoal-finished open shelving system. Designed for modern media integration, this TV wall unit balances solid surfaces with open display volumes. A vertical panel finished in a rich walnut veneer provides the primary backdrop, while a charcoal-coloured modular frame extends from its side. The shelving section is divided into asymmetrical rectangular compartments, offering varied space for books, decor, or media components. The entire structure is anchored by a low, matching charcoal base, creating a clean, architectural silhouette. The combination of warm wood tones and dark, matte-finished metal or wood elements provides a sophisticated aesthetic suitable for refined interior spaces.

The download is a 5.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Utilise this 3ds Max asset by merging it into your scene file as a grouped object. The model is structured with distinct material IDs for the walnut panel and charcoal shelving, allowing for individual texture mapping or colour adjustments. Ensure your pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy placement against walls or as a room partition. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the contrast between the wood grain and the matte charcoal surfaces for high-quality final renders.

This piece is ideal for high-end residential projects, particularly in open-plan living rooms or media lounges. It functions well as a feature wall that anchors a seating area while providing essential storage. Architects and interior designers might use this when specifying contemporary furniture layouts that require a cohesive, built-in appearance without the need for bespoke joinery. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture, leather seating, or neutral colour palettes, making it a versatile choice for modern apartments, luxury homes, and professional showroom displays.
