About this asset

This contemporary 8-seater dining set in SketchUp features a rectangular walnut table and matching fabric-upholstered chairs. This dining set comprises a large rectangular table with a distinctive geometric angular frame and eight matching chairs. The table is finished in a warm walnut veneer, showcasing a clean, modern aesthetic with tapered legs that splay outwards. Each chair features a curved, upholstered backrest and seat pad in a neutral beige fabric, supported by a slender wooden frame that echoes the table's material palette. The set includes a full place setting arrangement, adding a layer of realism to the model through included glassware, white porcelain plates, and folded napkins.

The download is a 17.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 9 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for the table and individual chairs, facilitating easy selection and placement. Users can adjust the overall footprint by manipulating the component instances. The textures are mapped for realistic grain orientation, and the geometry is optimized for efficient viewport performance. Ensure the model is placed on the correct layer or tag to manage visibility during the design development process, especially when populating larger residential or hospitality interior scenes.

Ideal for residential dining rooms or upscale hospitality environments like hotel restaurants and cafes, this set provides a polished look for high-end project visualisations. It integrates seamlessly into open-plan living and dining areas where a clean, contemporary aesthetic is required. Professionals often search for this type of furniture when specifying mid-to-high-end interiors that require a cohesive, ready-to-render dining arrangement that pairs well with minimalist or transitional decor schemes in both new-build and renovation projects.
