Contemporary Dark Brown Leather L-Shaped Sofa Living Room Scene

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features an L-shaped leather sofa, timber wall paneling, and matching coffee table. This comprehensive living room set comprises a low-profile L-shaped sofa upholstered in dark brown leather, paired with a matching timber-framed coffee table featuring a glass top. The assembly is anchored by a vertical-slat timber wall partition that integrates a structured shelving unit with open white compartments. Additional elements include a floor-standing lamp, a potted indoor plant, and a large abstract framed artwork mounted on a central panel. The configuration is completed by a geometric area rug, creating a cohesive, warm aesthetic defined by the rich, natural wood tones and clean, modern lines.

The download is a 49.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Designed for efficient placement in SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups and components to facilitate easy editing or material replacement. Users can easily swap textures on the leather upholstery or timber surfaces to match specific project requirements. Due to the high level of detail, it is recommended to manage this as a proxy or external component to maintain viewport performance, especially when populating larger architectural models or interior design presentations within the native environment.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this scene serves as a complete focal point for living room layouts, open-plan apartments, or luxury hotel lobby designs. The sophisticated material palette of leather and natural timber integrates seamlessly into modern, contemporary, or warm-minimalist aesthetics. Designers can use this as a starting point for client mood boards or as a pre-configured asset for rapid rendering workflows, pairing it with neutral wall finishes and ambient lighting to enhance the sense of depth and comfort in any space.
