Contemporary Walnut 8-Seater Dining Set with Curved Chairs

This contemporary 8-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a solid walnut table with curved chairs and a geometric area rug. This dining ensemble centres on a large rectangular table featuring a rich walnut-toned top with a natural live-edge aesthetic. It is paired with eight ergonomic chairs, each showcasing a distinctive curved backrest frame in matching dark timber and upholstered seats in a neutral grey fabric. The arrangement is grounded by a large area rug displaying a white-on-grey geometric pattern. Included in the set are detailed table settings with plates, cutlery, and glassware, alongside a central decorative floral vase, providing a complete, ready-to-render composition for high-end interior visualisations.

The download is a 16.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 9 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the scene units match your project scale before merging the file. The set is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of individual chairs or the table surface. Materials are assigned to standard slots, making it straightforward to swap textures or adjust the reflection parameters of the wooden surfaces to suit your specific lighting environment. Using an instance for the chairs will help maintain a manageable scene file size during complex architectural renders.

This dining set is ideal for contemporary residential projects, luxury apartments, and high-end hospitality spaces such as boutique hotel dining rooms. Designers looking to populate open-plan living areas or formal dining spaces will find this set provides a sophisticated, balanced focal point. It pairs well with modern minimalist lighting fixtures or bold, oversized pendant lamps. Professionals often search for this type of asset when visualising high-end interiors where a warm, organic material palette is required to soften modern architectural lines.
