About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a two-tone fabric curtain set with a white sheer panel and charcoal-toned side drapes. The assembly comprises a full-width white sheer curtain providing light diffusion, flanked by two heavy-duty charcoal-coloured drapes. These outer panels are elegantly pulled back using integrated tie-backs, creating natural, soft folds that suggest a high-quality textile weight. The geometry captures the organic drape of the fabric, with the white sheer layer remaining flat and consistent across the span. This set is designed to be placed against a wall or window frame, offering a realistic, layered window treatment that adds depth and tactile interest to interior visualizations.

The download is a 9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed by placing it on a dedicated 'Curtains' or 'Window Treatments' layer to maintain scene organization. Users can scale the model horizontally to fit specific window widths while maintaining the integrity of the fabric folds. Applying custom materials or adjusting the opacity of the white sheer layer allows for precise lighting control, ensuring the model reacts correctly to interior light sources and environmental settings within your specific rendering environment.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and luxury hotel suites where a layered window aesthetic is required. They pair effectively with modern or transitional furniture, providing a soft contrast to hard surfaces like timber flooring or stone wall cladding. When searching for this asset, terms such as 'layered drapes', 'sheer window curtains', 'textile window dressing', and 'modern curtain set' will yield the best results for your interior design projects and architectural presentations.
