Contemporary Translucent Coloured Plastic Armchair Set

This contemporary set of four translucent plastic armchairs for SketchUp features distinct coloured finishes and ergonomic forms. This collection consists of four distinct armchairs, each crafted from a high-gloss, translucent plastic material. The designs vary in silhouette, featuring both industrial-inspired metal frame profiles and more organic, fluid shell-like shapes. The colour palette includes deep brown, vibrant blue, and soft green tones, all rendered with a high degree of transparency to simulate light refraction. Each chair offers a unique aesthetic, ranging from classic cafe-style seating to modern, rounded lounge profiles, providing a versatile selection for interior visualisation projects that require a light, airy, and colourful seating solution.

The download is an 18.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as individual components, allowing for easy placement and rotation within a scene. Users can quickly swap colours or textures by editing the material properties of the translucent surfaces. To ensure optimal render performance, keep these assets on a dedicated layer, managing the transparency settings via the native material editor. Scaling should be performed uniformly to maintain correct ergonomic proportions relative to standard table heights, and groups can be exploded if specific geometry adjustments are necessary.
