About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a terracotta leather tub frame supported by a minimalist circular gold pedestal base. Defined by its rounded, compact silhouette, this tub-style armchair offers a modern aesthetic suitable for refined interiors. The seat and curved backrest are upholstered in a smooth, matte terracotta leather, providing a continuous, clean profile. A small, square accent cushion featuring a high-contrast black and white houndstooth pattern adds a textural layer to the seating area. The entire assembly rests upon a cylindrical, brushed-gold metal pedestal base, which provides a stable foundation and a subtle metallic contrast to the warm, earthy tones of the leather upholstery.

The download is a 5.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Integrate this 3ds Max asset into your scene by using the native pivot point located at the base for easy rotation and placement. The model is structured with logical layer naming, allowing for the quick adjustment of material IDs if a different leather texture is required. Ensure your global illumination settings are calibrated to capture the subtle metallic reflections on the gold pedestal, while the houndstooth cushion mapping should be checked for scale consistency against your project's specific camera distance and focal length.

This piece is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas where a statement accent chair is required. Its compact footprint makes it particularly effective in smaller seating clusters or as a solitary reading chair. Professionals often search for this type of furniture when specifying luxury interiors or contemporary office breakout spaces. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as part of a larger, curated lounge set within hospitality or high-end residential design schemes.
