About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bench features terracotta leather upholstery and a black metal frame, draped with a houndstooth fabric throw. This rectangular bench is upholstered in a smooth, matte-finish terracotta leather, providing a firm, clean-lined seating surface. The base consists of four slim, black-finished metal legs that attach to the bench body with exposed circular hardware details. Draped over the seat is a soft textile throw featuring a classic high-contrast black and white houndstooth pattern. The combination of the warm, saturated leather tone and the graphic, monochromatic textile creates a balanced visual contrast. The piece is compact, suitable for use as a footstool, an entry-hall seat, or a bedroom end-of-bed accent piece.

The download is a 7.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, import the model and check the scale against your project units. The leather and fabric materials are applied as separate sub-objects, allowing for easy material ID adjustments or texture swapping if necessary. Ensure the throw is correctly positioned within your scene's lighting environment to capture the fabric's soft shadows. The bench sits on a flat base, making it straightforward to place on floor surfaces without complex alignment.

Designers frequently use this type of bench in residential bedrooms, walk-in closets, or entryways where a small-scale seating element is required. It pairs well with minimalist or transitional interior schemes, serving as a functional accent that adds a pop of colour. Professionals searching for 'bedroom bench', 'leather ottoman', or 'accent seating' will find this asset useful. It is also suitable for hotel suites or high-end retail dressing rooms, providing a sophisticated touch to smaller transitional spaces in both modern and eclectic design projects.
