About this asset

This 5-piece contemporary dining set for 3ds Max features a rectangular wood table and four terracotta fabric-upholstered chairs. This contemporary 5-piece dining set comprises a rectangular table with a distinct angular leg structure and four matching dining chairs. The table surface and frame exhibit a pronounced wood grain texture, complemented by a light natural finish. Each chair features a curved, semi-enveloping backrest upholstered in a warm terracotta-toned fabric, providing a soft contrast to the rigid geometry of the wooden table. The legs of both the table and chairs share a consistent tapered design, creating a cohesive aesthetic suitable for modern residential or hospitality interior design schemes.

The download is a 7.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your master project and ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for easy placement. The geometry is grouped for efficient manipulation, while materials are assigned with logical naming conventions. Users should apply a standard UVW map modifier if scaling is required to maintain the integrity of the wood grain and fabric textures. Adjust the lighting intensity to highlight the contrast between the matte fabric and the reflective wood surfaces.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, compact kitchen areas, or boutique hospitality settings, this set works well in warm, contemporary interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist pendant lighting or neutral wall treatments to allow the terracotta upholstery to act as a focal point. Professionals searching for a coordinated dining solution will find this asset useful for staging projects that require a balance of organic textures and clean, modern lines in dining or breakfast nooks, providing a ready-to-use furniture configuration for architectural visualisations.
