About this asset

This contemporary grey fabric armchair, modelled for SketchUp, features a structured backrest and slender black metal legs. This armchair showcases a refined contemporary silhouette, defined by a fully upholstered seat and backrest finished in a textured grey fabric. The design features a gently curved, high back that transitions seamlessly into compact, integrated armrests, providing a supportive and ergonomic profile. The seat cushion is well-proportioned, maintaining a clean, minimalist aesthetic. It is supported by a lightweight, angular metal base in a matte black finish, which provides a striking contrast to the soft upholstery. The geometry is clean and precise, suitable for high-quality architectural visualisation where detail and form are critical.

The download is a 28.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model into your project, import the component and place it using the move and rotate tools to align with your floor plan. The model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy material replacement or texture scaling if a different fabric finish is required. For optimal results, ensure your model origin is set to the base of the legs to simplify placement on floor surfaces, and consider applying a soft ambient occlusion map for realistic contact shadows.
