About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a wall-mounted house-shaped desk with integrated shelving and a matching upholstered chair. This wall-mounted desk unit combines a functional workspace with a playful, house-profile storage system. The primary structure is finished in a warm wood grain, contrasted by teal-coloured accents on the drawer front and the back panel of the shelving unit. The upper section comprises asymmetrical compartments ideal for books or small decor. Below, a single drawer provides hidden storage for stationery. The accompanying chair features a curved wooden backrest, a padded seat upholstered in a neutral fabric, and slender black metal legs with gold-toned tips, maintaining a consistent aesthetic throughout the set.

The download is a 69.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max model into a project, treat the wall-mounted unit and the chair as separate objects for easier placement. Use the pivot points to align the desk against vertical wall surfaces and position the chair accordingly. The materials are logically grouped, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood finish or fabric colour to suit specific interior palettes. Ensure the wall-mounted component is properly snapped to your wall geometry to avoid floating artifacts in your final render output.

Ideal for compact residential spaces, this desk set is perfectly suited for kids' bedrooms, small home offices, or study nooks where space efficiency is paramount. The house-shaped silhouette adds a whimsical touch to children's rooms while providing essential storage and workspace. Designers often pair this with neutral wall treatments to let the teal accents stand out.
