Contemporary Tan Leather Metal Frame Armchair, Single-Seater

This contemporary leather armchair, modeled for 3ds Max, features a sleek metal frame with warm wood-accented armrests. This contemporary armchair features a structured, minimalist metal frame finished in a muted grey tone. The seat and backrest are composed of plush, tan-coloured leather cushions, offering a clean, geometric profile. Notable design details include slender, natural-toned wood inserts integrated into the top of the metal armrests, providing a tactile contrast to the cold steel structure. The base is an open, linear construction that maintains a lightweight aesthetic, making it suitable for both compact and expansive spaces. The cushions appear soft and slightly relaxed, suggesting a comfortable seating experience while maintaining a formal, architectural silhouette.

The download is a 20.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max model into a scene, ensure the pivot point is aligned with the floor plane for accurate placement. The asset uses distinct materials for the leather, metal, and wood components, allowing for easy adjustment of texture maps or shaders to match specific project lighting requirements. It is recommended to use an HDRI environment map to correctly capture the subtle reflections on the metal frame. The geometry is clean, supporting efficient viewport navigation and rendering workflows without unnecessary overhead for architectural visualisations.
