Contemporary Blue Fabric and Wood Bar Stool

This contemporary 3ds Max bar stool features a blue fabric seat shell with a bentwood-style exterior and a polished metal base. This bar stool presents a clean, contemporary profile defined by its curved, upholstered seat shell. The interior is finished in a smooth, deep blue fabric, providing a contrast to the exterior wood-veneer finish that wraps around the back and sides. A central pedestal support in polished chrome provides the structural foundation, featuring a circular floor plate and an integrated horizontal footrest. The design balances ergonomic comfort with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic, making it a versatile choice for modern bar counters or high-top tables where both visual impact and functional seating are required.

The download is a 1.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single object with logical grouping for the seat and pedestal. Users can easily adjust the height via the pivot point or standard scaling if required for specific counter heights. The material slots are clearly defined, allowing for quick texture swaps or fabric colour adjustments to match interior schemes. Standard lighting setups or HDRI environments will interact naturally with the reflective chrome base, requiring minimal setup for high-quality architectural visualisations.

This stool is ideal for residential kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and home bar areas. It also serves well in commercial hospitality settings, such as boutique cafes, hotel lounge bars, or modern retail showroom displays. Designers often pair this piece with stone-topped counters or minimalist timber breakfast bars to emphasise its contemporary lines. Search for this asset when specifying furniture for modern dining spaces, high-end hospitality interiors, or projects requiring a sophisticated, compact seating solution that maintains a refined material palette.
