Contemporary Tan Leather Channel-Tufted Lounge Chair

This contemporary SketchUp model features a tan leather lounge chair with distinctive channel-tufted upholstery and slender gold-toned metal legs. Characterised by a compact, rounded silhouette, this lounge chair features pronounced vertical channel-tufting across its entire internal surface. The upholstery is rendered in a warm tan leather, suggesting a soft, matte texture. The frame is supported by four tapered, metallic legs finished in a pale gold tone, which provide a delicate contrast to the substantial, upholstered tub-style body. The proportions are designed for comfort, with a deep seat and integrated, curved armrests that wrap around the user. It is a singular, cohesive piece that balances mid-century influences with modern material choices and clean, minimalist lines.

The download is a 13.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp model into a project, treat the chair as a single component to maintain scene organisation. Use the native scale tool to ensure the seat height aligns with your floor plane, as minor adjustments may be needed depending on your specific project requirements. Apply your own high-resolution textures to the leather surfaces if customisation is required for close-up renders, and utilise the existing geometry to set up proper lighting, ensuring the metallic legs catch light appropriately within your interior scene composition.
