Contemporary Smoked Glass Coffee Table with Sculptural Metal Base

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features a circular smoked glass top supported by a distinctive, sculptural dark metal base. Defined by its interplay between transparency and solid form, this coffee table presents a large, circular smoked glass surface. The tabletop is held by an intricate, flowing metal frame that creates an organic, continuous silhouette beneath the glass. The dark, reflective finish of both the metal and the glass provides a cohesive, moody aesthetic. The model includes a small, decorative vase with a cluster of faux floral blooms, which adds a touch of texture and colour to the minimalist composition. The design focuses on fluid lines and a sophisticated material palette.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured with clean geometry that allows for easy placement into architectural scenes. Users should ensure the glass material properties, including refraction and reflection settings, are adjusted to suit the specific lighting environment of the interior. The object is typically managed as a single group, allowing for straightforward scaling and positioning. Applying a high-quality environment map or HDRI will help capture the subtle reflections on the smoked glass surface and the metallic sheen of the sculptural base.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms or luxury hospitality lounge areas, this coffee table anchors seating arrangements with its elegant, modern profile. It pairs effectively with low-profile sectional sofas or minimalist armchairs, where its sculptural frame can be appreciated from multiple angles. Its neutral, dark palette ensures versatility across a range of interior design schemes, from monochromatic to bold, eclectic spaces.
