About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features sage leather upholstery, a walnut-finished shell, and slender black metal legs. This lounge chair features a distinct low-profile silhouette defined by a curved, shell-like frame finished in a warm walnut tone. The seat and backrest are upholstered in sage-coloured leather, offering a smooth, matte texture that contrasts with the rich wood grain. Supporting the structure are tapered black metal legs, which provide a minimalist foundation and a slight backward pitch for a relaxed seating posture. The overall form balances organic curves with industrial materials, making it a versatile piece for various interior styles, from modern residential living areas to executive lounge spaces.

The download is a 22.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this 3ds Max model directly into their scene, ensuring the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor surfaces. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient mapping of custom materials if required. When rendering, apply a high-quality environment map to capture the subtle reflections on the leather and the sheen of the metal legs, ensuring the wood grain texture is scaled appropriately to maintain realism in close-up shots or architectural visualisations.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this lounge chair fits seamlessly into living rooms, reading nooks, or master bedroom suites. It serves as an effective accent piece when paired with side tables or floor lamps in hospitality lobbies and boutique hotel guest rooms. Professionals searching for modern seating solutions will find this asset useful for creating comfortable, stylish vignettes in both private homes and commercial waiting areas, where a balance of comfort and aesthetic refinement is required for high-end interior rendering.
