About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair and ottoman set features deep red velvet upholstery and a sophisticated wingback silhouette. This set consists of a high-backed wingback armchair, a matching square ottoman, and a small circular side table with a marble top. The chair and ottoman are upholstered in a rich, deep red velvet, supported by dark timber legs. The wingback design provides a sense of enclosure, complemented by a soft bolster cushion and a matching throw pillow. The side table features a slender, geometric metal base supporting a polished black marble surface, creating a distinct contrast in textures and materials against the soft, tactile velvet surfaces of the seating pieces.

The download is a 17.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your project folder. The objects are grouped for ease of placement and scaling within your interior environment. Assign the provided velvet and marble materials to the respective geometry using your preferred render engine. Ensure the pivots are positioned at the base of the furniture for accurate floor placement. Use standard lighting setups or HDRI maps to capture the light-absorbing qualities of the velvet and the reflective properties of the marble tabletop.

Ideal for residential lounge areas, luxury hotel suites, and quiet reading nooks, this armchair and ottoman set adds a bold focal point to interior designs. It works well when placed in corners or adjacent to fireplaces, providing a comfortable and stylish seating solution. Architects and interior designers often search for such sets when specifying high-end furniture for boutique hospitality projects or master bedroom suites. Pair this grouping with neutral wall palettes to allow the deep red tones to stand out as a primary design feature.
