About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features a square glass top supported by an open-grid natural wood base with decorative accessories. This square coffee table showcases a minimalist aesthetic, defined by a clear glass top resting upon a structural timber grid base. The base is composed of intersecting wooden members that create a rhythmic, open-cell pattern, providing both stability and visual lightness. The piece includes a set of curated decorative items, specifically a ceramic vase with dried branches, a metallic bowl on a book, and a dish of green apples, which enhance its styling. The natural wood finish complements the transparent glass surface, offering a balanced, sophisticated addition to any interior space.

The download is a 62.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the table from the decorative props if needed. Users can apply custom materials to the timber components or adjust the glass transparency via standard material editors. The asset is scaled for immediate placement in a scene, and its modular geometry ensures compatibility with various interior lighting setups, including HDRI environments or V-Ray/Corona light configurations, without requiring complex adjustments to the base mesh or UV mapping.

Ideal for residential living rooms, high-end hospitality lounges, or modern office reception areas, this coffee table serves as a central focal point. It pairs well with low-profile sectional sofas or contemporary lounge chairs. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of asset when visualising open-plan living spaces or boutique hotel suites. Its clean lines make it versatile for various design schemes, from Scandinavian-inspired interiors to more structured, contemporary environments, providing a refined touch to any professional architectural visualisation project.
