About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge set features two red velvet armchairs and a circular gold coffee table, ideal for luxury interiors. This lounge set comprises two rounded armchairs upholstered in a deep red velvet fabric, each accompanied by a matching accent cushion. The chairs feature a wrap-around backrest profile and sit on a concealed base. The central coffee table is a drum-style piece finished in a metallic gold tone, providing a bold contrast to the soft upholstery. Completing the composition are decorative tabletop accessories, including a glass vase with blue floral arrangements and stacked books, which add a layer of domestic realism to the furniture arrangement.

The download is a 7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type for easy selection and material assignment. Designers should apply high-quality velvet fabric shaders to the chairs to capture the subtle light absorption characteristic of the material. The metallic finish on the coffee table benefits from an environment map to accurately reflect the surrounding space. The entire set can be scaled as a group to fit specific floor plans, ensuring the proportions remain consistent with the intended layout.

These pieces are suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or sophisticated waiting areas. The combination of rich red velvet and metallic gold accents works well in modern or luxury-themed projects where a focal point is required. Architects and interior designers often search for such sets when specifying furniture for intimate conversation nooks or refined lounge zones. They pair effectively with neutral wall finishes and polished stone flooring to create a balanced, high-contrast aesthetic in any interior design scheme.
