About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp console table features a distinctive kidney-shaped marble top supported by a bold red-painted base. Defined by its organic, kidney-shaped top, this sculptural console table blends striking material contrasts with unique geometric forms. The surface is crafted from dark grey marbled stone with prominent veining, framed by a smooth, vibrant red edge. Structural support is provided by a dual-element base: a stack of three rectangular drawers finished in matching marble on one side, and a singular, tapered post featuring stacked spherical accents in solid red on the other. This juxtaposition of traditional stone textures against an avant-garde, primary-coloured silhouette creates a highly expressive piece suitable for focal points.

The download is a 12 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for the table base, drawers, and top surface, allowing for easy material adjustments or component scaling. The geometry is clean, utilising standard edge smoothing to maintain the curved profile of the kidney top. Users can apply custom wood or lacquer textures to the red components to match specific project colour palettes while keeping the stone surface as a high-resolution map. Ensure the model is placed on a flat plane to maintain correct vertical alignment.

This console table serves as a strong statement piece in residential entryways, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end retail showrooms. Its bold aesthetic pairs effectively with minimalist interiors where it provides a necessary visual anchor. Designers searching for sculptural accent furniture, kidney-shaped tables, or contemporary entryway storage will find this asset fits well within transitional or modern design schemes. It is best positioned against feature walls where the asymmetric form can be fully appreciated by visitors and occupants alike.
