About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp kids bed features a distinctive pink arched headboard wall panel and integrated soft fabric bedding details. This kids bed design centres around a tall, vertical-slatted wall panel in soft pink, framing a deep-set arched niche. The arch is outlined in a stark black frame, creating a bold graphic contrast against the cream-coloured upholstered headboard area. The bed base is finished in a matching pink tone, keeping the aesthetic cohesive. Included in the assembly are several decorative cushions, a layered bedding set, and a soft green throw blanket. A minimalist wall-mounted geometric art piece is centred within the arch, while twin slim pendant lights hang vertically to define the sleeping zone.

The download is a 138 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a nested component, allowing for easy adjustment of the wall panel height or the bed base position. Users should place the component against a wall surface to ensure the rear panel sits flush. Texture maps for the fabric and wood finishes are applied via standard materials; ensure the UV mapping remains intact when scaling the assembly. The model is lightweight enough for quick placement in residential interior visualisations without compromising viewport performance during the design development phase.

The bed is ideally suited for children's bedrooms, nurseries, or themed playrooms in high-end residential projects. Its playful yet structured design works well in contemporary or transitional interior schemes where a statement piece is required for a focal wall. Designers often pair this with neutral flooring, soft area rugs, and complementary pastel decor to complete the space.
