About this asset

This contemporary lounge chair set for SketchUp features a distinct two-tone fabric upholstery with a cylindrical base and curved back. Designed with a playful, sculptural silhouette, this lounge chair pair features a circular seat and a cylindrical base, creating a compact yet comfortable profile. The upholstery uses a contrasting colour scheme, combining soft pink and deep charcoal fabric panels. The backrest is composed of a rounded, vertical element that wraps partially around the seat, providing a unique visual rhythm. The model includes two variations of the colour placement, making it a versatile choice for accent seating in modern interiors.

The download is an 8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these chairs are organised as clean components, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a scene. Users can efficiently swap the fabric materials by editing the component textures or applying new colours to the existing geometry. Given their compact form, they are ideal for populating tight spaces or as secondary seating in a larger lounge arrangement. Ensure that the model is placed on a dedicated layer for easy toggling during the design development phase, especially when managing complex architectural scenes.

These lounge chairs are well-suited for contemporary residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern cafe seating areas where a touch of colour is required. They pair effectively with minimalist coffee tables or as standalone accent pieces in a bedroom or dressing area. Architects and interior designers often search for such compact, sculptural seating to break up rigid spatial layouts. Their distinct two-tone finish makes them effective for adding personality to neutral interior design schemes in both residential and commercial projects.
