About this asset

This contemporary coffee table for 3ds Max features a circular glass top supported by three sculptural, black marble cylinder bases. The table is defined by the contrast between its transparent, circular glass surface and the substantial, monolithic quality of its supports. Three distinct cylindrical bases, finished in a dark, veined black marble, are arranged to provide both stability and visual interest. The proportions are low and wide, typical of modern lounge furniture. The clear glass top allows the sculptural geometry of the marble legs to remain visible from all angles, creating a clean, sophisticated aesthetic that balances heavy stone elements with a lightweight, airy top section.

The download is a 9.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your master project and ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy floor-level placement. The glass material is configured for standard ray-traced reflections, so ensure your environment maps are active to capture the necessary refractions. The marble texture is applied to simple cylindrical primitives, making it straightforward to adjust UV mapping or swap the stone finish if your project requires a different colour palette or material variation.

This piece is an ideal choice for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas where a statement piece is needed. It pairs effectively with low-profile sectional sofas or curated armchair arrangements. Designers searching for a sculptural focal point will find this model useful for contemporary interior styling. The clean lines and monochromatic palette integrate seamlessly into minimalist, luxury, or modern schemes, providing a refined anchor for seating groups in both residential design and commercial hospitality projects.
