Contemporary Patterned Fabric Rug Set of Eight in Brown

This SketchUp model provides a diverse set of eight contemporary fabric rugs featuring varied graphic patterns and textile textures. The collection includes eight distinct area rugs in both rectangular and circular formats. The designs range from classic distressed-look traditional motifs and geometric chevron patterns to modern illustrative prints, including cartographic street maps and bicycle wheel motifs. Each rug is presented as a thin, flat geometry suitable for floor placement, with high-resolution textures applied to define the visual characteristics of the fabric surfaces. The set offers a broad spectrum of visual interest, suitable for layering in various interior design schemes, from minimalist spaces requiring a subtle accent to eclectic rooms needing vibrant, graphic floor coverings.

The download is a 10.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 8 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these rugs are best utilised by importing the component set and exploding the group to isolate individual models. Each rug is mapped with a texture that can be scaled or adjusted via the materials editor to suit specific floor dimensions. Because these are flat geometries, they should be placed slightly above the floor surface to prevent Z-fighting or flickering in renders. Users can easily swap materials or apply custom textures to the existing geometry to match specific project colour palettes.
