About this asset

This contemporary lounge chair set for 3ds Max features four organic, quilted-upholstery chairs arranged around a small circular side table. This set includes four sculptural lounge chairs featuring a distinct organic, teardrop-inspired silhouette with a central cutout. The upholstery is finished in a quilted fabric pattern, presented in soft pastel pink and muted teal tones. Each chair rests on slender, tapered metal legs that provide a lightweight aesthetic. Centrally positioned is a small, minimalist circular side table with a white top and a thin, circular metal base. The ensemble is completed by a decorative vase with bare branches, creating a balanced, curated arrangement suitable for intimate seating areas or waiting lounges.

The download is a 34.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into 3ds Max, ensure the scene units are correctly set to match the model scale. The chairs and table are typically grouped as separate objects, allowing for individual placement or re-arrangement within the floor plan. Apply your preferred shaders to the fabric and metal components, ensuring proper UV mapping for the quilted texture. Use an HDRI environment map to achieve realistic lighting reflections on the metal legs and to soften the fabric highlights.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern retail waiting areas, this lounge set brings a soft, artistic touch to contemporary interiors. Designers often use these pieces to create conversation clusters or accent corners in open-plan spaces. Search for terms like organic lounge chair, quilted accent seating, or small side table set to find similar configurations. The contrasting pastel colours make this set a versatile choice for schemes requiring a pop of colour without overwhelming the surrounding architecture.
