Contemporary Orange Fabric Lounge Chair with Side Pocket

This contemporary SketchUp scene features an orange fabric lounge chair with a grey storage pocket and a light wood frame. This lounge chair features a vertical channel-tufted backrest and seat, upholstered in a vibrant orange fabric. A contrasting grey fabric pocket is integrated into the external side armrest, providing functional storage for magazines or tablets. The chair is supported by a light-toned natural wood frame that extends to the floor. The scene also includes a minimalist ladder-style shelving unit in a matching wood finish and decorative wall-mounted button-shaped elements. The composition is set within a room with concrete-textured walls and a geometric patterned floor rug, creating a cohesive, modern interior vignette.

The download is a 20.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model into your project, use the component import function to place the chair and accessories within your scene. The geometry is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy material adjustments or swaps to suit your specific colour palette. Ensure the model is correctly scaled by referencing the floor plane. For high-quality visualisations, apply textures to the fabric and wood surfaces and adjust the lighting settings to replicate the natural daylight and soft shadows shown in the preview.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this lounge chair and scene setup works well in living rooms, reading nooks, or home offices. It is suitable for early-stage concept development or final staging of architectural visualisations. Designers often search for functional accent seating with integrated storage for compact spaces. The model pairs effectively with modern decor, minimalist shelving, and textured wall treatments, making it a versatile asset for creating inviting, lived-in environments that balance comfort with clean, contemporary lines.
